4th Round Deutsche Bank Championship

Posted by Jared Gerber on May 5, 2012

Today is Labor Day-the only Monday finish on the PGA Tour schedule. Again another struggle in the final round. We shot 3 over 74. Another frustrating round for Team Villegas. I really thought this was going to be a break-out week for us. We have worked hard on the right things and we are hitting the ball great! But, the whole package doesn't happen if you're not scoring. At the end of the day, no matter how well you hit the ball you still have to score.

Today we played with American Jim Furyk. He is a very good player but Jim is struggling with his putting. He started the week with a belly putter and played with a blade putter on Sunday. Jim is such a world class player, I'm sure he'll get it back. I hope next week in the Windy City of Chicago brings good golf for Team Villegas!
